Sanitary Trim

Also referred to as a hygiene trim or sanitary clip, is a grooming technique that involves trimming the hair around a dog's delicate areas, namely the genitals, anus, and underside. The main aim is to uphold hygiene by stopping urine, feces, and other debris from getting stuck in the fur, which can result in matting, unpleasant smells, skin irritation, and a heightened risk of bacterial or fungal infections. This trim assists in keeping the area clean and dry, lowers the chances of urinary tract infections—particularly in female dogs during their heat cycles—and facilitates the dog's ability to eliminate waste.

My Sanitary Trim also includes shaving their paws, to assist in keeping your dog from tracking dirt through your home.
