Thank you for your interest in Liberty Paw Spa! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Angie Lichtig. I am a mother of 3 children and I'm married to a disabled veteran. We live in Lexington North Carolina with, 2 German Shepherds (Rex and Ziva), a Malinois mix (Kraye-zee) a Tri-pawd Miniature Schnauzer (Little Chief) and a Maine Coon Cat (Poe). My experience with animals goes all the way back to when I was pet sitting at a very young age. I have worked in the Pet Industry for over 20 years now. When I was a freshman in high school, I worked for a family groomer who took me under her wing, as a bather. In 2010 I attended school and became a certified groomer. I worked for other salons for a couple of years, then pursued furthering my Pet experience by going to Dog Training school, where I met my husband. After helping my husband manage his Dog Training business for about 5 years, I took a break and put my focus on dog daycares. I was in the kennel industry for a long time and eventually became a Kennel Manager. My experiences took me into the Vet industry where I became a Vet Assistant. Nothing brought me more joy than to help pets feel better and to provide the best assistance possible, for the owners. The vet industry helped shape me and I got a lot of 'hands-on' customer service experience, from it. After my 3rd child was born, I decided to hang up my scrubs and start my own Spa, out of my home. The name is dedicated to my loving husband, and his service. We are very patriotic. With this business, I do not offer full grooms and I prioritize specialty baths with additional services. While I was in the Vet industry, I saw a large number of skin issues that I couldn't believe. My goal is to help soothe irritated skin and help pets feel more comfortable. My Spa also provides a 'Do it Yourself', service. I'm happy to help anyone that doesn't have a big tub at home and needs a comfortable way to wash their pet without bending in a regular bathtub. My bath services can include nails, ear plucking/cleaning, gland expressions and teeth brushing. All my products are Nature's Specialties, brand.
